Snappis have transformed the use of cloth nappies. Not only are they faster and easier to use than pins, they also give a better fit.
Some people are a little scared of Snappis, but trust me - if you can use a zipper, you can use a Snappi! At each end there are plastic claws which grip the loops in the terry towelling. This gives a firm grip without biting into the fabric and causing long-term damage as pins tend to do.
To fasten, simply hold one side of the cross-bar of the 'T' in place on one hip, stretch it across to the other hip and push into the nappy. Then pull the base of the 'T' downwards so that it forms a 'Y' shape. This gives tension in three directions on the nappy and gives a beautiful snug fit. It also means the nappy is less vulnerable to being opened by curious toddlers. (More useful than you might think!)
Please note: The Snappis come in a variety of colours and won't necessarily be white as pictured.
