Until now, if you wanted to go for an eco-friendly nappy, you looked first for unbleached cotton. Then you went organic, if you could find it. Finally, you would go for hemp.
But bamboo wins any green competition hands down - with an incredibly short growth cycle and almost no need for pesticides, you don't get a crop more sustainable than this.
But putting the environment aside, there are performance advantages too. The fabric itself is quite different from cotton in its fibre structure, absorbing up to 60% more moisture for the same weight, while drying 20% faster. This means that the Bamboozle nappy can be a far slimmer fit without sacrificing absorbency.
It is also naturally anti-bacterial and extremely silky to touch - a truly luxurious feel for a fabric that sits next to the skin all day. Once you get over the sheer weirdness of a bamboo nappy, you really have to try this one.
Popper fastening
The popper-fastening Bamboozle has poppers placed in a variety of positions which allow you to get a great fit for any size. Poppers are placed to allow you to use the nappies on sizes below the recommended weight range: you pull the front up higher, fold it over towards the outside, then fasten with the poppers which are specially placed for this purpose.
Aplix fastening
The Aplix fastening version of this nappy certainly makes for a quicker and easier nappy change. They have laundry tabs to make sure they don't get stuck to anything in the wash.
