About us

The beginning...

The MiniLaLa label was born from Carli's love of beautiful ribbons, fabrics, and papers, and her passion for pretty things.

As 'Mum' to two lovely children, and a soul who is just not happy unless she's being creative, she set about making for Nicholas, and later, Ivie (in her 'spare time').

The range of MiniLaLa modern cloth nappies hit the ground running in September 2008. The response was overwhelming, yet wonderful! In 2009, after many months of research and work, MiniLaLa began the manufacturing process, and the first shipment was delivered in September 2009.

The middle...

MiniLaLa rapidly grew into a successful business, with the nappies and accessories now carried by a few selected (and very lovely) stockists.

Carli has since moved on from MiniLaLa, but the same gorgeous products with exceptional quality and style are still brought to you today by:

• Jessica started using cloth nappies with her first daughter Olivia in March 2006. Not long after, she opened Cotton Bottom which is now one of Australia's largest online retailers of modern cloth nappies and related accessories, also with a nappy dedicated shop in Kew VIC.
• Nick, the better half of Jessica, left his exciting theatrical lighting career to now work full time in the business. Nick is who answers most of your phone calls and greets you in the shop.
• Cherry is a fashion and style extrodinare, making many of her own gorgeous creations. Cherry answers many of your email enquiries and also works in the shop.
• Mel has been using cloth nappies longer than any of us, answers many of your emails and phone calls and helps make sure your orders are posted promptly.
• Emily, Loris, Margie and Liz are all highly valued members of the team, working at expos, helping receive stock, admin and everything else in between.
